Finding the best fit for a customer challenge. 

Recently, a distributor emailed an image of a pneumatic assembly with a stainless steel valve rated for 1500 psi. I let him know that I could quote a pneumatic valve rated to that specification, but our standard off-the-shelf valve rated to 1000 psi was in stock and would be much more cost effective if they didn’t use it to that pressure. Turns out they didn’t need 1500 and 1000 was a viable solution. They’ll save money going forward using something more common and that was in stock, helping to avoid the longer lead times and the extra costs of a custom solution that they didn’t actually need. 

Don’t get me wrong. We are always available to work with our clients to provide a custom-designed valve for a specific application. And we encourage our distributors and end users to come to us if they need a solution that our standard product offering doesn’t cover for them. But more importantly, we are here to offer you the best answer for your budget, work schedule, and business.
